Alien: Isolation, Creative Assembly's upcoming survival-horror game based on the acclaimed sci-fi series, has gone gold, publisher Sega announced today. That means development has finished, and the game is now headed to factories for mass production ahead of its release worldwide on October 7.
Sega also today announced today that it has created a series of short trailers for Alien: Isolation called How Will You Survive, the first of which was released today (above). The video series is meant to showcase the challenge players will face in surviving throughout the game.
Alien: Isolation is coming to Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PC. The game aims to instill a similar level of "fear and tension" that Ridley Scott's 1979 movie Alien achieved, according to Sega. You play as Amanda Ripley, the daughter of Ellen Ripley, the main protagonist of the Alien series.
